New beginnings - New Brand, New Website, New Era!

Time for a rebirth!

I spent 2023-2024 in Argentina studying magic at the best magic schools in South America. When we moved back to Atlanta, GA we purposely chose an apartment on the Atlanta Beltline and I started doing street magic. I changed my Instagram handle from @ADHDMagician to @BeltlineMagician and started using “The Beltline Magician” as my brand. It worked great at the time.

In April 2025, I became a member of the Jeff McBride School of Magic & Mystery in Las Vegas, the premiere magic school in the world. I did a life changing 7-day residency at their 7-day Master Class. I went back in June for their Summer Camp and attended Magic Live in August 2025. In February 2026 I went back for their Mastering the Classics class and I continue to invest in their programs. Magic is a lifelong journey of learning. There are no graduates from the Mystery School, we are all life-long students of the art of Magic. I also began one-on-one mentoring with the Dean of the Mystery School, Larry Hass, The Philosopher Magician.

2025 ended up being my best year as a magician with all the new training I matured into a much better performer and started doing a lot of local gigs in the Atlanta metro area and surrounding states, continued doing insurance conferences all over the country (where I started my magic career), and started doing Trade Show Magic at various trade shows in a variety of industries beyond insurance.

In late 2025 my girlfriend built me a starter website for The Beltline Magician brand and it served us well for a few months.

For months I had been “noodling” the idea that a rebrand was necessary. The Beltline is well known in Atlanta, but unknown in the rest of the country, and maybe even confusing. Transitioning to a national practice as a corporate and trade show/conference magician, necessitated a new brand that is not so local to the Atlanta area.

Membership in the Mystery School gives access to Mystery School Mondays, an incredible online lecture series that they have been producing for about 15 years. In March of 2026, the amazing Magical Katrina spoke about marketing your magical practice and changed my life! I immediately bought both of her lecture notes, which I highly recommend to any magicians who want to work more and better gigs! She also recommended joining Jonah Babins Masterclass. I reached out to Jonah who recommended starting by listening to his podcast Discourse in Magic, which I started doing immediately, again highly recommended to all magicians.

These resources gave me exactly what I needed to proceed with the rebrand and website build. And thus The Beltline Magician was sunsetted and Tony - The Red Hat Magician was born like a phoenix from the ashes.

The old website only mentioned Close-Up, Corporate & Trade Show, and Private Parties, and didn’t give much details on any of them. The new website is MUCH more in-depth with specific landing pages for Corporate Magic, Georgia World Congress Magic, Keynote Speaking, Strolling and Walk-Around Magic, Conference and Trade Show Magic, Wedding Magic, Private Events and Parties, Bachelorette Party Magic, and even a page in Spanish since I am a native Spanish speaker. This new website is much more in-depth, represents my magic much better, is SEO optimized and much easier to find, and better allows me to serve my audience.

Why add a blog? Way back in 2014 I launched Insurance Nerds, a blog about Insurance, Careers, and Technology that turbocharged my insurance career and in a weird way ended up leading me to become a magician, so it just felt natural to also have a blog in my magician’s website. I’ll be using this blog to tell a little bit of magic story, give advice to newer magicians, and tell interesting stories from the gigs I work as a magician.
